Master Naturalist Kathryn Kolb shares over 30 years of field experience in forests and wild lands of the Southeast. With EcoAddendum, she leads educational walks and outings in natural areas in metro Atlanta and the Southeast.
She also designs forest restoration plans for municipalities including maps, forest inventories and invasive species removal strategies.
During this ecology walk, Kathryn will show how trees and other species can tell us how to read the story of the forest in different ecosystems, and why Atlanta’s urban forest is so special, from parks and greenspaces to our own backyards.
We’ll identify trees and other key species, and understand what it means when we find these in our greenspaces. Register here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040B45A4A929A2FE3-trees
