Herbalist Staci Rieder’s Summer Solstice Workshop
Herbalist Staci Rieder's Summer Solstice Workshop
Interested in learning how to forage local herbs and wild food, or make your own plant medicines? Join local herbalist and medicine woman Staci Rieder—trained in the wise woman tradition—for a special Summer Solstice workshop held in the peaceful wetlands of Blue Heron Nature Preserve.
According to Staci, Summer Solstice is a time to honor the sun, connect with the abundance of nature, and embrace the energy of the season. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided through her “Educate, Meditate, Create” process:
-
Educate: Learn to identify wild herbs growing around you and explore their medicinal uses
-
Meditate: Connect with the land through guided meditation in nature
-
Create: Craft your own personal herbal remedy to take home and use throughout the season
You’ll also enjoy a seasonal infusion of local plants, taste wild food snacks, and take part in simple sun-centered rituals to mark this special time of year.
