Wake Up Walk

Get active with Blue Heron in 2026!

Start your day out right with a leisurely, morning walk throughout the beautiful greenspace of Blue Heron! Walk every Tuesday, taking a casual pace, focused on enjoying time spent outside rather than racing through that 10,000 steps goal.

Our educators will take you down on their favorite trails in our 30-acre space, pointing out the best places along the way including Nancy Creek lookouts, common critter sighting spots, and so much more. Feel free to bring your coffee, or a journal to keep track of all the birds you’re sure to spot along the way.

These walks are focused on:

• Getting active
•  Connecting you to the outdoors
• Taking a break from screen time
• And providing a space for community!
