Mend & Swap Day

Come celebrate America Recycles Day with BHNP Craft Club! We will be offering:

• a visible mending workshop*,
• a clothing swap,
• teaching how to craft with alternative materials,
• and providing a space to connect with your local crafty community!

We will provide materials, but it is encouraged to bring your own as supplies are limited.

What to bring:

• clothes to swap,
• clothes you want to repair,
• scrap fabric,
• thread and needles,
• any other crafting materials you might need.

*Hand sewing only! No sewing machines available on site.

Want to craft but don’t know where to start? Miss that summer camp vibe from years ago?
Come join our very own adult-only craft club where we promote creativity while encouraging the use of sustainable practices. We’ll give you the feel of being back at summer camp without the endless hours in the sun. Run by our very own educators Mac & Dusk, starting this fall you can come out to the preserve and practice old skills or learn something new!

All meetings and events are pay what you can. Donations to the preserve are always appreciated 🙂
