Hike with the Authors at Blue Heron

Join Jonah McDonald and Zana Pouncey, the authors of the Hiking Atlanta’s Hidden Forests series, for a hike at Blue Heron!

Come meet Jonah McDonald and Zana Pouncey, the authors of Hiking Intown Atlanta’s Hidden Forests and Hiking Metro Atlanta’s Hidden Forests at Blue Heron for 2-mile a walk and talk around the Preserve.

During the walk, Jonah and Zana will discuss their process of writing these guidebooks, provide suggestions for other hikes to take, and offering an opportunity to ask questions. The hike will pass pollinator gardens, beautiful trees, and wetlands along the dirt trails and boardwalks running by Nancy Creek and Mill Creek.
