Coyotes of Atlanta
Coyotes of Atlanta
Come fall in love with coyotes during another Second Saturday Safari at Blue Heron!
Many have their gripes with coyotes, but Dr Chris Mowry of the Atlanta Coyote Society is here to educate you on what they do for our community! Coyotes are way more than a nuisance or pest. Find out all the ways they contribute to our environment.
In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Explore the wonders of the Preserve
- Learn all about coyotes from Atlanta Coyote Society’s founder
- Ask questions to an expert!
- Find a new appreciation for coyotes along the way
What are Second Saturday Safaris at Blue Heron?
An outdoor education series, open to adults and families alike. Each workshop offers a deep dive into the ecology of our protected greenspace, highlighting the importance of the species that call Blue Heron home.
On the second Saturday of each month from 10 am to noon, we’ll gather at the Preserve with guest experts for engaging talks and guided walks through the trails. It’s a chance to deepen your understanding of the natural world, connect with passionate experts, and experience the beauty of Blue Heron in a new way.
