THE WILDFLOWER DIARIES II
October 21st, 1pm - 4pm
Document the riot of color blooming at Blue Heron from late summer to early fall.
Following is a list of suggested materials to take to class, but please use what works best for your needs as an artist. All can be found at Binder’s, Michael’s or Dick Blick art supply.
140 lb. watercolor paper, hot pressed (smooth) in a comfortable size to fit your drawing board
Clips or tape to affix paper to board
Graphite drawing pencils in HB, 2B or F lead
Small watercolor tube or pan paints (Winsor & Newton recommended brand) including (or as close as possible to) these colors: French Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red, Permanent Magenta, Cadmium Yellow, and Lemon Yellow
A palette for mixing paint that can be carried- a plastic egg carton is good!
#1 and #3 round brushes, (Kolinsky sable recommended--will last forever!)
