Amphibian Foundation: Open House and 'Ribbit Exhibit' Gallery Opening

For the first time, the Amphibian Foundation’s facilities, including all the living collections and captive breeding laboratories will be open to the public!

The Amphibian Foundation’s first annual Open House will be Friday, December 8th from 6 to 10 pm. This will be an all-ages event including representatives from partner agencies such as GA Department of Natural Resources, the Orianne Society and Georgia Reptile Society bringing live amphibians and reptiles to engage with the public about natural history and conservation. In the lobby of Blue Heron Nature Preserve will also be the opening of ‘Ribbit Exhibit’ — an amphibian related art and photography gallery that will run through the rest of December. Come and meet Amphibian Foundation, Blue Heron and Atlanta Audubon staff, volunteers and interns and the amphibians we are working hard to save from extinction. The Foundation holds conservation collections of Georgia's rarest amphibian species, as well as imperiled species from around the world.
