Betsy Oh inspires adults and children to tap into the "inner-artist" that she truly believes we all possess with her passion for art and art education. Her works pay tribute to the curiosity and beauty that nature brings while also providing a platform to explore the subconscious mind. Betsy believes in the healing power of self expression and is dedicated to teaching art in an open, fun and inspiring environment. Her open-ended, process-driven projects allow students to develop their ideas and personal style, as well as develop a strong appreciation for the art world.
All levels are welcome! We’ll use the slab method to construct salt cellars, a useful sculpture that puts the FUN in functional.
Day one is for construction, and day two is full color painting. Your piece will be electric kiln fired so it is outdoor safe. Day one includes a meal break: bring your sack lunch and water/snacks. Join us for these two special weekends of art, creativity, new friends, and fun!
